Very smooth and easy to play. Fast, low action.

Guitar technician and luthier Tim Marten started repairing instruments professionally in 1977 when he joined the busy workshop in the basement of 27 Denmark St – widely known as Andy’s.

The workshop had a great reputation for the high quality of its repairs and was used by many of the top bands and musicians of the time.

In 1980 Tim joined the road-crew of Led Zeppelin as guitar tech for Jimmy Page and remained with Jimmy for ten years, touring and recording extensively in Europe and America.

He has also toured with many other major acts, including Roger Waters, Ray Davies and Steve Harley.

Tim opened his own workshop in 1990, soon attracting many famous clients. In 2000 he was invited back to a greatly expanded Andy’s in Denmark Street, where he headed the repairs department and oversaw the training of several apprentice guitar technicians.
