This 2020 Vicente Carrillo Primera Especial Classical Guitar is a high level instrument hand crafted in Spain. The bear claw Spruce top produces excellent clarity and note separation and a beautiful singing treble string. It is easy to play and the balance between strings is excellent. The intonation is excellent. It does not easily buzz when played loudly. The body is made from Indian rosewood and the neck from cedar. This is one of the higher end models hand crafted by Vincente Carrillo in Spain. The guitar has 20 frets and 6 strings with a fretboard made of ebony. 650 (standard) scale. The finish is a very thin lacquer which is very durable. Luthier Richard Brune (who made a guitar for Segovia) played this guitar and felt like it was one of the nicest Vincente Carrillo guitars he had played. 

The guitar is right-handed and comes with a hard case that bears the Vicente Carrillo brand name. This classical guitar is in very good to excellent condition. There is a small ding in the sound board on the upper bout as seen in the last picture. Otherwise it is excellent. A new guitar like this sells for $6,000 at GSI (where I bought it new). I spent a half day at GSI and played about 30 guitars. It came down to a choice between this guitar and a $10,000 guitar. I chose this guitar because I liked the sound better. I can’t imagine finding a better sounding guitar in this price range. The case is sturdy and looks new. It comes with straps for carrying.
