Leedy and Ludwig Broadway ‘New Era’ 1954 drum kit 12/13/16/22
Beautiful, rare ‘New Era‘ 1954 Leedy & Ludwig vintage drum kit 8x12, 9x13, 16x16 and 14x22 in aqua blue sparkle.
These stunning drums were only made during a brief four year period (1951-55) following The CG Conn CO’s merging of Ludwig & Ludwig and Leedy companies just after WW2. They have a look and sound that is quintessential of the time; Connoisseurs will note the incredibly hip ‘beaver tail’ lugs on all drums and bath tap style tension screws on the bass drum.
They are in excellent condition save some typical cosmetic speckling of the wrap, snare rim scratches on the side of the 13” tom and some tarnishing on the floor tom leg holders.
Tom holder, bass drum tom mount and bass drum spurs or any other hardware not included.
