While most signature models focus on aesthetics, Ivanyi and John Suhr focused on the 'Trinity of Control'—a single volume knob, a 3-way blade, and the innovative internal 'Gain Pad.' This allows you to preset a specific output level for the Blower Switch via a hidden mini-pot in the rear cavity, giving you an instant, foot-free transition between rhythm and lead volumes.

James Norbert Ivanyi is a progressive master-mind, hailing from Australia. It was there that he earned his degree from the Australian Institute Of Music and began crafting his signature sound. James has been using Suhr guitars for 11 years now to write and perform his incredible brand of genre-bending music. James has released many solo records that range in sound and genre, yet always take you on a journey over unexplored sonic and technical terrain.

For his signature model, on top of this sleek combination of Body wood with a Roasted Maple top with scraped binding, the team at Suhr also worked with James to develop a new type of “Blower” switch that allows you to preset the volume of your guitar when the blower switch is engaged.
