The Meinl STD2VB Steel Tongue Drum A-Akebono (Vintage Brown) is a pre-tuned steel drum with harmonic sound, including bag and mallets. The instrument is made with precision and has 8x metal reeds, all tuned in a different tone. The result is a fluid, harmonious and spherical sound, ideal for meditation, relaxation and music therapy. Even beginners can make use of the tuned Steel Tongue Drum and produce impressive sound sequences. With the supplied rubber mallets, the sound becomes even louder and more penetrating, but it can also be played by hand, with the tones sounding rich and inspiring. A bag is also included, so the drum is always protected and can be easily transported. The powder-coated finish creates a noble yet simple look.
