1 NOS Set. I’ve had these since the mid-90’s (sealed in a ziplock bag) which would have been the last time I gigged with my 330. Was saving them for “someday” but I just never play it so figured I’d offer them to someone else. Ric no longer produce these and their newer strings are not Compressed, at least it’s not stated on the labels. I remember trying regular Fender, D’Addario’s even GHS Burnished to save a few bucks but they just didn’t cut it on a Ric. I believe these strings are essential to the true Ric sound. Listed as a Medium set but are not the medium gauges you‘re thinking of, notice the low E is a 42 but somehow it doesn’t feel floppy on a Ric. I can tell you they do stay fresher longer than standard round wounds, it must have something to do with the compression process. This is coming from someone whose sweaty left hand can clog up a set of strings after one gig. I know they are pricey but are strictly for a Ric connoisseur.
