Fender Bassman 2-Channel 50-Watt 2x12" Piggyback Guitar Amp 1964 - 1966 - Black Panel

This is an excellent condition 1965 fender bassman with matching 2x12 cabinet from 1965. This amp has incredible tone with nice shimmery clean tones that fender is known for and sweet natural overdriven sounds that could compete with any Plexi or bluesbreaker. Takes pedals as well as any amp I’ve heard. The amp functions as intended with low noise and quiet control pots. Bridge the channels together for an almost unlimited tone potential.

The important parts are original including tolex, grill, transformers. There has been necessary service work including 3 prong cord for safety, replaced electrolytic capacitors, various other resisters and capacitors replaced, and new tubes to allow the amp to play at its best. It is the more rare transitional AA165 circuit. Amp was made in September 1965 according to tube chart code. The amp overall is in good condition with light wear to the tolex and one of the knobs lost the reflector front part (see photo). Very minor defect in the front of the grill cloth on the head (see photo).

I also have a 1x15 fender cab from the same era that was originally meant for a showman that can be included for an additional $300 loaded with a Jensen speaker. It also sounds great with the bassman and sounds especially excellent in combination with the 2x12 as well.
