Swisher Handmade Rebel Electric Guitar 2023 - Ebony

This is a right handed Offset V-Style solid body electric guitar made from alder, finished in Opaque Ebony. The body is 1.75 inches thick and was hand shaped on a sander with bevels hand carved into the wings. The body weighs in at 4.1 lbs. It’s a string through body with rear and top string ferrules and a tune-o-matic bridge. The hardware is all black. The pickup configuration is two black humbuckers. I wound these pickups myself and they measure out as follows; the neck pickup has an ALNICO 5 magnet and reads at 9.8k and the bridge pickup has a Ceramic 8 magnet and reads at 12.9k. Like most of my neck pickups, this one sounds pretty clean by itself, and the bridge pickup is loud and gritty but can also be punchy and deliver that raw rock aggression. The electronics are wired with a volume pot for each pickup and a three way selector switch. The neck is 22 frets and bolted on with recessed black ferrules for a sleek look. The neck is maple with a wenge fretboard and a 9.5” radius with custom maple position markers. The headstock is angled. The truss rod is a dual action spoke type and located at the heel end. My necks are all hand carved and the profile is considered a “C” shape. This one measures .844” (21.43mm) at the 1st fret and .884” (22.45mm) at the 12th fret, it’s quite comfortable. The frets are Medium Nickel-Silver .084" wide by .039" high. The tuners are black HipShot staggered inline type. The nut was hand shaped from bone.

My guitars are set up to play with great action. The frets have been leveled, crowned and polished. The string height at the 1st fret is .012” and at the 12th fret it’s .060”. You’ll notice how smooth they are right away.
