Power
The MXR Wylde Audio Overdrive is powered by a single 9-volt battery (remove bottom plate to install), a 9-volt AC adapter such as the Dunlop ECB003, or an MXR Brick Series power supply.
Directions
- Run a cable from your guitar to the WA44’s INPUT jack and run another cable from the WA44’s OUTPUT jack to your amplifier.
- Start with all knobs at 12 o’clock. Turn the effect on by depressing the footswitch.
- Rotate OUTPUT knob clockwise to increase effect volume or counterclockwise to decrease it.
- Rotate TONE knob clockwise for a brighter tone or counterclockwise for a warmer tone.
- Rotate GAIN knob clockwise to increase overdrive intensity or counterclockwise to decrease it.
- Footswitch toggles effect on/bypass (red LED indicates on)
- Output knob adjusts overall effect volume
- Tone knob adjusts overdrive EQ
- Gain knob adjusts overdrive intensity
