NEW) The new Radio series from Beard continues their tradition of innovation, and we're hearing some of the finest reso phonic tones every coming from the spunky little box! This round-neck Radio Standard is a Model A in custom Black Ice burst. It has birch top, back and sides, a wood that Paul Beard knows inside and out. Birch seems to make reso phonic guitars with a vintage soul, and the new Radio models have, to our ears, a more pronounced low end complexity.
The neck is mahogany with a comfortable low oval profile, 1 3/4" nut width and long scale. This one is decked out in distinctive Black Ice finish, and looks pretty amazing paired with the black Beard XR hardware, Radio cover plate and Gotoh tuners. Beard Legend cone, Original #14 spider bridge.
