Meet Reface - Yamaha's reimagined versions of classic keyboards designed for today's mobile world. These battery-powered mini keyboards have built-in speakers so you can take them anywhere inspiration strikes. The legendary sound of Yamaha goes mobile with a series of 4 unique synths. The Reface DX takes a new approach to FM synths by adding continuously variable feedback to each of the 4 operators in its sound engine. This opens up a wide range of possible sounds that you can create. There are two programmable effect blocks with 7 effects per block and a multi-touch control interface for direct control access to the 4 parameters simultaneously.

A member of the Reface series, the Yamaha Reface DX borrows from synths and keyboards of old to bring you updated functionality with those good, vintage sounds. Drawing particularly from the DX7, which was a music-defining synthesizer in the '80s, the Reface DX serves up expressive sound that harkens back to the DX7, but can be molded to your own preferences using onboard multi-effects that can be saved as one of 32 patches. The Reface DX also contains a looper, giving you the ability to quickly record and play with any sonic ideas you may have.
