The Wilson Wah builds upon the classic vintage wah circuit with thoughtful modifications that enhance bass response at the input, creating a thick, full-bodied sound. A standout feature is the Growl Control, which adds a scratchy, throat-like texture or can be dialed back for a smoother tone. Combined with other on-the-fly adjustments, this wah offers a level of flexibility that sets it apart from traditional designs. Straight out of the box, it delivers a fat, spongy tone, with the ability to fine-tune a wide range of wah sounds.

External Controls:

• Sweep Range: Adjusts the depth of the sweep. Fully clockwise maximizes the effect, while fully counterclockwise minimizes it.
• Q Selector Switch: A 12-position switch that fine-tunes the wah’s tonal character, from dark and warm (clockwise) to bright and sharp (counterclockwise).
• Growl: Shapes the bass and gain response. Turning it clockwise thins out the tone (excessive thinning may lower volume), while counterclockwise settings produce a thicker, darker sound.
• On/Off LED indicator on side of pedal.

Internal Adjustments:

Inside, two blue trimmer controls offer further customization:

• Top Trimmer: Adjusts the midrange response.
• Bottom Trimmer: Controls the overall volume output.

Premium Build & Features:

• NOS Mullard Tropical Fish capacitors for rich, vintage tone
• Carbon composition resistors and BC109B transistors for authentic response
• Built-in fuzz buffer for seamless compatibility with fuzz and overdrive pedals
• True Bypass switching with a super bright LED to prevent accidental activation
• Wilson Effects vintage taper wah pot, modeled after a vintage ICAR taper pot for an authentic feel or a smooth taper potentiometer for full sweep throughout the physical range of the wah. (Please indicate the taper you would like when ordering.)

Power & Warranty:

The Wilson Wah operates on a standard 2.1mm center-negative power supply or a high-quality alkaline battery. Every pedal is hand-built in the U.S.A. and comes with a one-year warranty on parts and labor.

This listing is a pre-order as all pedals are built to order. I typically get them out sooner than the 5 Day lead time but this gives me plenty of time to get the orders filled when things get super busy. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions. Thanks- Kevin
