The TAC24 model, which inherits the specifications from the higher-end TACTICS model, is now available in a new standard model with a pop look. The new model is a perfect introduction to technical playing, as well as a perfect playability for those who are just starting out on the guitar.

24-fret specification for a wide range of expression

The 24-fret specification expands the range of the sound, which in turn expands the playability of the instrument. It is suitable for melodies using the high position and playing sweeps that sweep from low to high in all directions.

This is a specification that we hope will be played not only by technical guitarists, but also by neo-soul guitarists who are often heard these days.

Roasted maple neck

Roasted maple is a wood that has been artificially made to resemble aged maple by heating it at high temperatures to volatilize the moisture and oils in the wood. Aged wood is less prone to distortion and twisting. When used in the neck, the effect is not only stable but also sonic, producing a rich, raw sound and a vintage, aged tone. Although this material is generally used for high-end models, we have succeeded in bringing it down to a more affordable price range.

The neck is made of roasted maple, a new innovation of Bacchus. The roasting process eliminates any wood that could be distorted during the roasting process, so the neck is highly resistant to distortion and twisting, making it a relatively affordable instrument that can be used for a long time.

HH pickups and coil tap

The 2 humbucker pickups give the guitar a powerful and attractive sound, and the 24 frets and 2-stud tremolo give it a modern look. It supports your playing from hard lead to technical solo playing.

By using the coil tap switch, it is possible to produce a crisp single-coil sound. This broadens the range of sound creation and makes it a truly genre-less instrument.

Heel-less cut to enhance high-fret playability

To support the playability of the high frets, heel cuts have been applied at the joints. The shape of the heel cut is also well designed so that it fits your hand and you do not feel any discomfort when playing the high frets.

Equipped with 2-point tremolo unit and locking pegs

The Bacchus Universe Series is equipped with a two-point tremolo unit, a first for the Bacchus Universe Series. By using the two studs on the left and right sides as fulcrums, the resistance of the moving parts during arming is much less, resulting in smoother arming and more stable tuning.

Furthermore, the "Locking Tuner" mechanism, in which the pole in the string post rises when the wheel on the back of the peg is turned, clamping the strings and securing them in place. The Locking Tuner not only makes string changes easier, but also improves tuning stability. This is also the first Bacchus Universe Series to adopt this feature.
