'The Hofner Shorty Electric Travel Guitar was first produced back in the 1980s and Hofner continue to offer this compact travel guitar for those guitarists who can't bear to be without a guitar even when on holiday! The Hofner Shorty offers full scale length combined with such small overall dimensions that it can be taken anywhere. Comes loaded with a great-sounding Hofner Open Humbucker.
Unique DimensionsThe issue with many travel guitars is the lack of a full scale neck. While a shorter neck means more portability, it compromises the approach and nuances that make a player comfortable with their guitar.
The Hofner Shorty guitars took that issue and did away with it. With a full scale neck, the only part of the guitar that's "shorty" is the body- which makes for a tasteful design that allows the user to practice and travel practically, as well as sensibly.
