Electric 10 string Mandocello Conversion made from a new Archer 6 string Stratocaster style electric guitar. I like to call it the "Stratocello."

10 string mandocello is also referred to as a Cittern.

Color: gloss black

Tuning: CC GG DD AA EE

scale length: 25.5"

I installed my custom design 10 string bridge ( fully compensating for string height & intonation). Installed my custom design nut, installed rail style pickups, and did a full setup on the instrument for great playability.

The strings used for the mandocello are: CC (0.064) - GG (0.042) - DD (0.028) - AA (0.16p) - EE (0.010). The strings are nickel wound and plain steel ball end electric guitar. Nut width is 43mm

This Instrument is in brand new condition.

PLEASE NOTE! This Instrument is a conversion made from a GUITAR.

The neck will have a guitar type width, as I do NOT reduce the neck's width.

So if you're accustomed to playing banjo, tenor guitar, mandolin, or any other stringed instrument with a narrower neck, this instrument will have a larger feel to your hand.

Remember, this is NOT an electric guitar. It is an electric mandocello. If you've ever priced a mandocello, then you know that they are exceedingly expensive due to their rarity. Electric mandocellos are even more rare than acoustics! Electric 10 string Mandocellos are the most rare!
