WORKING CONDITION: Very Good - This guitar plays very nice with great action and clean notes throughout the neck. The frets are in great shape with no divots, just general even wear.  Tonally this guitar sounds beautiful and rich just as you would expect from a well-worn Martin. The non-original Waverly tuners are working nicely, look great and a general improvement to the originals. In all, everything is in excellent working condition. 

PHYSICAL CONDITION: Good - Considering that this guitar is from 1954, there are notable signs of wear. The body, neck, and headstock of the guitar are peppered with dings and scuff and general wear. The natural finish is checking around the body. Part of the nut is slightly chipped as well. No major repairs or damage to note. There is a piece of tape below the high E string between the bridge and the pickguard, we're not sure what its intended purpose is so we left it there. See pics. The top is in great shape overall with only a finish crack on the top behind the bridge and another on the back. Both of them are not flexing or separating and stable.  Everything is expertly crafted, intact, and in very good physical condition. 

Non-Original Martin molded case, One lock on the case is broken off, however, the locking piece is included inside the case.
