This is the HSS ERA SNARE DRUMS SERIES produced from 1989 to 1994. The emblem is HSS ERA BADGE, and the production base of RIDGELAND, S.C is engraved on the emblem. Speaking of Radio King, single plate maple, and rim shot counter hoop. Called a vintage hoop at the time, the straight brass hoop is the key to making this snare sound.
The frequency of domestic arrival is low and it is now a rare item. The sound is characterized by fine rolls, but with good graininess and coherence. Open rim and close rim shots have a dry and slightly tight sound. The engraving on the hoop is irresistible.
The head is also original and overall good, almost like new NOS condition. There are dents on the head.
