The Jet DS begins with a select mahogany body with maple top that produces the signature strong, punchy response that has made the Jet famous. For the Players Edition Jet DS, they chose a 1.85" depth along with vintage chambering to deliver a tighter, more controlled attack that still retains incredible articulation.
DynaSonic bridge and neck pickups complement the Jet DS's chambered body to produce amplified bright, shimmering highs and a defined, rich bass for distinct tone that cuts through the mix.
Responding to player needs for increased comfort, the Jet DS features a lowered neck set that greatly improves fret-hand mobility while also giving the picking hand a closer approach, increasing comfort and accuracy. Gretsch's new full-access rolled cutaway and tapered heel allows the free access to upper frets without awkward pivoting or palm obstruction. This sleek design remains hidden, preserving a vintage aesthetic – a critical feature that is meant to be felt, not seen. The Jet DS comes equipped with additional Players Edition features that give you total control of your tone and performance, including no-load master tone pot with Squeezebox paper-in-oil capacitor, master volume with treble bleed circuit and individual pickup volume controls.

If an instrument needs a setup at destination, there are the sole buyer responsibilities as the instrument has been verified and set up before shipping.

[5] There is NO return for international transactions and overseas shipping. Our return policy does not apply to International transactions, only to the Canadian market. It is the Buyer’s responsibility to verify if the manufacturer will accept the warranty for an international transaction, otherwise they will be considered as used.

[6] If an item arrives Damaged, please send us pictures of the external box and damage within the first 24 hours. Failure to do so will automatically void the insurance with the carrier. Keep the box until further notice and wait for our instructions for the next step. Having an instrument setup by yourself or a non-certified technician could void the warranty and insurance on shipping.
