Offering a rare vintage and WORKING AMPERITE RBH RIBBON MICROPHONE from the 40's with desk stand & cable. The casing is nice condition...no cracks, dents or missing ribs, given a fresh blast of paint to spruce it up. This type of microphone was a favorite of crooners and comedians alike, also popular in the big band circuit of New York City where the Amperite Company was located. Testing reveals a good working order with strong output and rich fidelity. **An audio sample can be provided upon request **

This mic has its original ribbon with updated transformer, and performs well with rich tone, but note:...these older ribbon mics may require additional preamplification.) The original yoke allows the mic to pivot, has a functioning on-off switch and includes a 4' cable with male XLR plug. The brass Amperite switch plate badge is clear and readable. The heavy Altec desk stand IS INCLUDED. ** Always safe packaging and fast fair shipping.
