Product introduction
The Alctron BV563 is a fully featured, large diaphragm tube condenser microphone with three interchangeable mic capsules to allow the use of different capsule sizes and pickup patterns for varying responses on sources.
The capsule sizes include: 32mm, 34mm, 35mm and can be exchanged to provide different tonal characteristics and pickup patterns on any number of sources from vocals to guitar cabs.
The internal Preamp comes equipped with a high quality 7025(12ax7) JJ tube, low noise Sprague, Wima parts throughout.
The preamp is very low noise with superb transient response and good audio character wherever it is placed.
Let’s be honest with most affordable microphones the issue is body resonance.
With the BV563 the shell is made of copper for very low handling noise and ringing and is a sturdy shell for years of abuse.
