Mono tube compressor

No compromise - all tubes are operated with 250 V DC! REAL tube sound

The TUBECORE 500 is a fully balanced transformer with a balanced compressor from the 500 series. The structure is based on the typical vari mu solution. The TUBECORE 500 is a true tube mono compressor, where compression is achieved by remotely turning off the tube preload. Can be used as a mono tracking compressor or (as a matched pair) as an advanced mastering tool.

Each individual TUBECORE 500 is made by hand with high-quality, coordinated components (1% metal film resistors, Wima caps). It is fitted with JJ tubing and individually calibrated to give you the unique and pristine experience of one of the finest vari-mu superchargers in history. We spent hundreds of hours designing the TUBECORE to ensure it's as easy to use as it is versatile. Not only for harmonically rich drums and guitars, but also for big vocals and bass instruments. Two audio transformers (Sowter and Carnhill) were used to achieve excellent performance.
