This is a Fender V-Mod II Double Tap Humbucking Bridge Pickup from a brand new American Professional II Telecaster Deluxe in mint condition. These are variations of the standard Fender Double Tap Humbucker that resembles a Wide Range humbucker while in a standard humbucker size and does not require modification beyond a standard humbucker cavity/route. These are also not sold as parts and only available from fully built guitars which make them harder to come by.
These have a reading around 9k resistance and 5.6h inductance at full strength and are wired to allow you to both tap and split the coil for some really versatile tonal options. Mounting springs and screws included!
Please note that I have more than one of these so consider these stock pics but they will be of the same model, look the same, etc.
Here's the info from Fender's website for the standard Double Tap humbucker which I assume shares some basics features with:
Designed by pickup guru Tim Shaw, the robust-sounding Double Tap™ pickup is a revolutionary breakthrough in humbucking pickup technology. This unique, patent-applied-for design combines full-throated humbucking and articulate single-coil voices, while eliminating volume loss in single-coil mode. A special alnico 4 magnet creates an expressive, well-defined voice that’s highly musical and dynamic. A light wax potting controls runaway feedback without compromising response.FEATURES
- No volume loss in single-coil mode
