The HotShot DM-1 is a dynamic microphone selector with a momentary toggle switch, allowing a performer on stage to redirect a vocal mic to feed into the stage monitoring system and communicate with band members or technicians.

Professional communication on stage
Designed to solve onstage communication problems for performers using in-ear monitoring systems, the HotShot DM-1 is a simple passive pedal that allows live performers to quickly redirect their signal without disrupting performances. Using the DM-1 is easy - connect any dynamic microphone to the input and send the main XLR output to the mixer, then connect a cable from the DM-1's second output to feed a common intercom bus. As soon as you press the momentary footswitch, the signal to the main output is muted and routed back to the monitoring system. This allows the musician to talk quietly with other band members or discuss a technical problem with the crew. As soon as the pedal is released, the system automatically returns to normal operation, allowing the show to continue as normal.

[4] All instruments are inspected and set up before shipping, therefore all boxes could be opened. We may also ship in a different box if we judge it is more secure to use a better packaging. If an instrument needs a setup at destination, there are the sole buyer responsibilities as the instrument has been verified and set up before shipping.

[5] There is NO return for international transactions and overseas shipping. Our return policy does not apply to International transactions, only to the Canadian market. It is the Buyer’s responsibility to verify if the manufacturer will accept the warranty for an international transaction, otherwise they will be considered as used.

[6] If an item arrives Damaged, please send us pictures of the external box and damage within the first 24 hours. Failure to do so will automatically void the insurance with the carrier. Keep the box until further notice and wait for our instructions for the next step. Having an instrument setup by yourself or a non-certified technician could void the warranty and insurance on shipping.
