In 1973, the Pearl Crystal Beat's stunning combination of visual appeal and powerful sonic attack sparked a revolution in percussion with first seamless clear Acrylic drum shell. Today's Crystal Beat increases shell thickness to 7.5mm for more flexible, less brittle play to deliver increased body and tone than ever before. Bringing back the stacatto attack of Concert-type toms,Crystal Beat single-headed toms are available in seven sizes from 6" to 16" in traditional depths.

Crystal Beat's toms include the Opti-Mount suspension system to remove undue shell pressure and increase sustain. 1.2mm triple-flanged hoops offer just the right amount of attack without sacrificing tonal body.
