This beautiful Larrivée OMV-40 has solid African Mahogany Back and Sides and a solid Sitka Spruce Top.  The body has a Venetian-style cutaway.  The satin finish looks great on this model, and the OM-style body sounds great.  This is a very nice looking guitar, and you will be ready to gig with the L.R. Baggs Stagepro Element pickup system already installed.

The revolutionary new 40 Series features Larrivée’s “Scalloped Parabolic Hybrid” bracing system design. Based on their tried and true “X-Brace” design, Jean Larrivée blended a non-symmetrical scalloped lateral cross-bracing pattern with his standard X-Brace. This means maximum strength using the least amount of material. It’s a build that allows even further vibration of the soundboard, while still offering a controlled dynamic bass response. Like all Larrivées, the 40 Series are built in America using only all solid wood and feature brand new upgrades like bone nut and saddle, diamond fingerboard dots, and 18:1 open-back tuners. Jean’s revolutionary new bracing design means a robust and unique tone that is sure to appeal to traditional and long-time Larrivée players alike.

All mahogany is FSC certified Khaya, commonly known as African mahogany or tropical mahogany.

The Stagepro Element is a side-mounted preamp/EQ that offers battery access and a full chromatic tuner that is hidden beneath the control panel to maintain a clean, classy look. The three-band EQ with phase inversion and Garrett Null notch filter controls deliver warm, pristine sound even under the most challenging conditions. The system includes the Element pickup and pre-wired strap jack.
