If you ask us, there is no way to build a better guitar than Collings does.  Every detail is meticulously poured over, and compromise is not in their vocabulary.  After first crisp strum on a D2H, you'll know exactly what we're talking about.

This beautiful example is basically stock, though the nut width has been widened to 1 3/4" from the standard 1 11/16".  The spec list reads: Sitka spruce, Indian rosewood, long 25 1/2" scale, herringbone top trim, mahogany neck with mod "V" profile, Waverly tuners, classic styling presented with pride and precision.  The journey might begin with this guitar, the journey might end with this guitar... doesn't matter.  You'll definitely be going in the right direction.
