This is a custom made Ken Bebensee 4 string lefty bass. I do not know the year it was made. There is a thumb rub spot above the neck pickup. Otherwise in fantastic condition. It has Bartolini active pickups with series/parallel switches. The back is slightly concave, and the neck feels asymmetrical to me. It's light, balanced and very comfortable. With the active Barts you can get funk snap and low grumble out of this with no problem. I've owned it for over 10 years. It lives in my smoke free studio and, as I am not much of a bass player, it has not been played. I need to refinish my studio, so it's time to let a few old friends go. This bass originally sold for over $5,000. Comes with hard shell case. Thanks for looking. Let me know if you have any questions.
PS - it was restrung and photographed. A&D strings was not set in the saddle correctly in the pic. Long since corrected. Currently wearing flatwounds.
