John Dandy Rodriguez, Jr., son of respected Latin musician John Rodriguez, began performing as a teenager with Tito Puente. He later played with Tito Rodriguez in the 1960's and Ray Barretto and Tipica 73 in the 1970s, after which he rejoined Tito Puente's Orquesta on Bongo and Cowbell for a 37-year stint. He inspired a generation of musicians and his influence is still felt and heard today through his active career.

Made to the specifications of the influential percussion legend, John Dandy Rodriguez. These beech wood bongos feature Cuban-style steel bottoms and signature striped finish.
