Eastport Music Scene presents the Charvel Guthrie Govan Signature Series MJ San Dimas SD24 CM (caramelized maple) in Three Tone Sunburst. An amazing MIJ (Made in Japan) Signature series model from Charvel. We are very excited to offer this beautiful instrument to our customers. There are so many cool features to this guitar that we will dive right in and get all the info out there for you. First the body is a Strat style body made of Basswood with a beautiful Ash top available in only the Three Tone Sunburst finish. We are adding the weight into the description as this guitar is coming in at 7.2 LBS. Very balanced weight wise and comfortable to play. It's got the sculpted shredders heel which makes playing in the higher register a breeze. The neck is a 24 fret caramelized maple 12"-16" compound radius with Jumbo Stainless steel frets that are just effortless to play on along with locking Gotoh tuners. The pick-up configuration is an HSH donning three Custom made Charvel pick-ups with brown bobbins. So not only do the pick-ups look great in this guitar but with the controls of a five way blade toggle switch along with the mini toggle there are 10 different pick-up settings along with great single coil simulation. Also they sound great. Like really great! O.k so we have gone through a lot and if you are still with us reading this write up, we thank you and have a few more great things about this spectacular guitar we want to share. There is a single volume knob and tone knob that have Lumilay numbers that glow in the dark along with Lumilay glow in the dark fret markers on the neck. The bridge is a Charvel recessed locking tremolo system with brass block and "pop in" bar. The brass block provides great sustain. Overall this guitar is just over the top with great amenities but it still is a great player that just feels and sounds incredible. Enjoy!
