The new RoXdon DC-1 dynamic super cardioid broadcast microphone features our new, patented, studio quality large diaphragm capsule with built in pop filter. The distinctive 'RoXdon 'look' design, comes complete with stand adapter mount and aluminium case. Optional custom shock mount and attached metal pop filter are available.
The DC-1 has been specifically designed to be used for professional broadcast quality vocals utilising an extremely high quality dynamic capsule with extended frequency response and wide dynamic range. Favored by many broadcasters over traditional condenser microphones, the RoXdon large diaphragm super cardioid dynamic microphone can be used in situations where poor room acoustics do not have an impact on the sound quality, due to its high directivity and reduced sensitivity of ambient sound reflections resulting in a much more versatile microphone especially for home studios and professional Podcasting.
Many broadcasters will prefer the RoXdon DC-1 over a condenser microphone due to the smooth rounded lower end frequency response, full bodied mid range and natural top end, giving that unique 'Radio' Sound.
Although specifically designed for broadcast, the RoXdon DC-1 has many other uses including kick drum, percussion, guitar amps, brass and woodwind instruments to name a few.
