Professionally upgraded 1973 Ovation Deacon. Still have all original equipment to return the guitar to 100% original with no lasting effects. The pickguard, wiring, pots, jack, and pickups are all custom made by professionals. The Deacon is in great condition for its age and is perfectly playable. There are a few blemishes, none that effect playability or stability. The worst was hard to capture but are some finish deep marks/cracks near the headstock. They have been there since I bought the guitar years ago and have not expanded or effected the guitar in any way. Missing upper strap button and needs knobs.
Pickups - Handwound Seymour Duncan A2 Minihumbuckers (12 pole piece) custom made by MJ herself.
Pickguard - WD guard with RS Guitarworks wiring with all hand selected parts.
Original OHSC with broken handle (still latches and protects)
Has the sought after nylon saddles.
Beautiful natural finish
Has all original parts (pre-wired EFT pickups and board)
Please see the photos. As always, after a guitar is shipped please allow it to get acclimated to the new climate and have it professionally set up.
Thanks for checking out the guitar!
