9.4 of 10 Condition (some light, superficial scratches and some weather crazing lines overall) For those bold guitarists who want to take on the challenge of tackling the 7 string. I don't believe Bill is building guitars at this time preferring to be in the more lucrative and less demanding world of voice overs ( you should hear his incredible baritone). Bill built some of the planets best archtops in his day - many being used by world-class players such as John Pizarelli. His guitars take their cues from violin construction and the sound show's it - very sweet with great sustain and projection. You just can get a better sound jazz guitar. Especially for chord melody style. course it has a new pro setup and plays like a laser. And the ornate "Deco" style headstock echos the designs of the master - John D"Angelico. BTW, the 11 ply binding on the headstock must have taken forever to execute with all those angle. We love this guitar! All solid, carved woods
