With a clean, round but controlled tone and no unwanted harshness, this beautiful 14x6.5 snare is perfect for the weekend warrior and studio stalwart alike. The 6-ply, 5mm all Maple shell produces noticeable dry clarity as a result of the 100% Maple hoops along with the addition of Sound Focus Rings on both top and bottom. "A recording engineer's dream" is how one drummer perfectly summarized the reaction we've heard from many players since the NAMM show of the LMP1465FSEN.
