YAMAKI Deluxe F-122 HummingBird TYPE Made in Japan
YAMAKI was a long-established maker in Japan.The brand name comes from “山幾” that means mountain trees rejoice. It was a very important manufacturer in the early days of acoustic guitars in Japan, and had a great influence on subsequent guitar making. This guitar: F-122 is from Yamaki's early lineup, circa 1973, so it is about 49 years old.
The pegs have been replaced with recent open-type, so you do not have to worry about tuning. Very cool guitar with 2-tone sunburst color and Hummingbird pickguard.

The guitar is about 50 years old, so the well-dried wood gives it a wonderful sound. There is some cloudiness characteristic of Japanese guitars of this era on the back of the body and around the shoulder area. There are some traces of past usage and aging, including dents.
