This Duesenberg 49er is in the rare year and color combination that is so sought after and it is in excellent condition. Stunning pearloid finish! A true stage guitar, by one of the most in-demand guitar companies in the world!
She has had an extensive professional inspection and set up by an expert Luthier with experience and training from Gibson, Taylor, and Fender… not a simple Guitar Tech. This level of craftsmanship, training, experience, and thoroughness makes all the difference in world in making your guitar its best. Included new strings, adjusted neck relieve, low action, any needed adjustment at nut and saddle, pickup height, intonation, fret board conditioning, electronics check, tighten tuner screws and nuts, lubricate tuning machines, cleaning and polishing.
You can't help but notice the amazing finish, first. Then you get down to playing and realize this 49er hangs with the best LP's out there! Same pickup configuration as the Starplayer TV, but in solid body form. This axe holds its own and really cuts through the mix.
We would have rated this guitar as "Mint Condition" but you can tell she has a couple of hours play time on her and some very very light marks on the back of the body that you have to go looking for, so we rated her as "Excellent" but she is near mint.
