This pickguard will only fit genuine Gibson® SG Standard models from the 1970's -1980's era with the LONG GAP between the pickups. There are two distinctly different bridge pickup mounting locations on SG Standards- one is closer to the bridge, making the gap between the pickups longer. Subsequently there are two distinctly different pickguards. Again, Look at the photo comparison, it speaks volumes.
Also, at some point in the 80's they changed the screw pattern to a 6 screw pattern, adding an extra screw in between the pickups. This guard is not compatible with that.
