Ramsa (Panasonic) WR-S4424 1990 black

We have for sale a Ramsa WR-S4424 sound reinforcement and recording console.

This is a used analog board in excellent condition and is being sold with a custom made ATA case on wheels. This case has a doghouse built into the rear to allow cables to remain connected to the board and protected from damage.  This case is in excellent condition also.

The board has 24 switchable, balanced XLR inputs,  and 24 1/4" TRS (phone plug) line inputs on each channel with switchable 48v phantom power option available to the XLR input.

There are 4 group output busses and  left/right output busses. Each input channel can be assigned to any or all of the 6 output busses. All outputs are also balanced.

There are 1/4" phone plug direct outputs for each channel for a total of 24. These could be used for feeding a multi-track recorder.

Each input channel has three band equalization with highs and lows utilizing a fixed +/- 15 dB at 12.5 KHz and 70 Hz respectively. The mid band eq is sweepable from 200 Hz to 6.3 KHz with +/- 15 Db peak or dip.

Metering is accomplished with six bar graphs for the outputs.

Pre fade listen available for each input as well as a talkback feature that can be routed to the output busses. The talkback microphone input is also provided.

This can be used as a stereo board and left/right pans are available on each input as well as outputs.

The faders are long throw carbon fiber construction and are smooth as silk.

It utilizes an internal power supply and requires standard 120 volts A.C. 50/60Hz.

The console measures 39 5/16" wide, 21 5/16" front to back, and 6  7/16" tall. It weighs 60.5 lbs.

Of course, these measurements are larger when it is in the case.

This console would make a great studio board for rehearsal, recording, or for house of worship. It also performs well in a live setting.  It is simple and easy to use with no menus to page through  as all controls are all analog.

Included with this sale is the operating instructions as well as the technical service manual.

The board has lived in the case when not in use and will ship in the case if necessary.

Due to the large size, local pickup is recommended, but we will ship insured  if desired. Be advised it will be expensive. The shipping charges shown in the listing are just an estimate and buyer will choose the shipping method and pay the actual costs.
