The Hedgehog is a hot-rodded american sounding amp with modern features and flexibility. The Hedgehog’s unique ability to select and program overdrive, voicing and effects loop options offers players a myriad of clean and overdriven tones from a single-channel amplifier.
Flexible voicing switches are accessible via the front panel and stored in presets. The voicing options include an overdrive gain stage, two levels of deep boost, mid and bright. Save presets of your voicing, boost, and effects loop modes for instant recall via the included 4 button footswitch or third-party MIDI controller.
A gain boost is selectable and programmable from the front panel along with the mode of the effects loop, which can operate in series or parallel modes.
The Hedgehog is made in Suhr's Lake Elsinore, CA factory in the United States using a combination of circuit board and point-to-point wiring, producing an amp that is reliable and easy to service.
The cascaded single channel preamp is fed into a clean and bold 50 watt 5881 power section.
