About This Listing

No. 0957. Includes original Guild logo hardshell case. Case is a bit scuffed up (see the pics) but the Guitar has a straight neck, plays great and sounds great. If you're looking at and alarmed by the insane prices being asked for ES-175's, you may wanna consider this similar & perhaps even better hollow archtop.  A WAY better value for a fine American made instrument.
There's a bit of surface finish swirl marks, much of the gold hardware is worn through & there's a couple of minor small finish dings. The frets show some minimal wear, but not much and not near enough to diminish playing excellence. We have a PLEK machine and would Plek it if we felt it was needed. No smoke odors.

Made in Westerly RI, this beautiful Guild is in excellent shape. Features 2 guild humbucker pickups, Rosewood fingerboard. A very slight and so slight, to where it can’t be photographed, belt rash on back body. Almost none really, and only visible when the light catches just right otherwise unnoticeable. Also, on side of guitar, near pickguard, is a tiny blemish measuring about 3/16” x 2/32” as can be seen in this attached photo. The year of manufacture is a little uncertain but believed to be made between 1998 and 2001. Has a 24 3/4" scale, 1-11/16th" nut width, 16.5" lower bout width, 2.5" rim depth, full contact floating Ebony bridge base with a metal tune-o-matic bridge, medium slim neck size & shape, Grover Rotomatic Tuning keys.  Includes hard shell case.
A very fine, sturdy instrument that's aging well and a has a fat, warm traditional archtop tone.
