Here is an interesting guitar. The Ovation Matrix features a cast aluminum fingerboard and a special polymer blend makes up the neck. The result is a neck that is strong, lightweight and impervious to temperature and humidity changes. The Guitar has the signature Lyrachord bowl back and a spruce top with a striking cherry sunburst finish.
The guitar is in good condition for its age and shows minimal wear. There are a few typical superficial cracks in finish on the top and some play wear on the back of the neck.
A few of the fingerboard dot makers have fallen out over the years and some look to have been glued back in.
The guitar was just restrung and it actually sounds pretty good.
The original owners manual is included and the guitar will ship in a chip case.
