22" Zildjian that was for some point in time known as the "Flat Top" model but it is NOT a "flat ride" like later flat top models, so I have taken the liberty or re-dubbing it the "cow bell" model, due to the fact that the bell has a much more hollow tone and seems to be much more "strikeable" (in my opinion, it's hard to play certain patterns on a mega bell, but you can play patterns on this.. as the bell registers with the stick tip and not just shaft hits.. shaft hits just give you more tone and volume, obviously).. Seems to have been made during the 60s and 70s only and this has a 60s/70s 3 dot stamp that is neither the small stamp nor the huge stamp nor the block stamp (this one is a fairly typical mid-to-big-sized stamp). The cymbal has obvious keyholing but no cracks there or anywhere else. The edges have pretty mild nicks.. I'm only seeing about two of them and one is barely anything at all (see edge pics) The edges have some dents but only one of them is clearly a "damage dent" the others are quite slight and look more like factory wave/wobble (again, see edge pics). There's tape residue and stickmarks and discoloration and patina and scratches. It weighs about 3210 grams. MY FURTHER OPINION ON SOUND: I described the bell pretty thoroughly, but as for the tap, the chime of the wash seems to be pretty high volume compared to the chimey/washy tap (that has some tah to it.. not super pingy.. not a loud tap). Not too bright, but I think it's a little higher than it is low. The crash is fairly low pitched.. not overly stiff but it's certainly not a lightweight cymbal.. pretty loud.. has a pretty consistent low overtone that seems to be in tune with the other tones.
