This is the original TASCAM DR-680 recorder, not the "Mark II."

Extras:

1) I paid to have the preamps upgraded by Bussman Audio, which you can read about here:



2) It comes with the protective bag for location work - it never left the bag, which fits it very well.

3) Original power cable works fine and is included.

Cons:

It's missing one of the screws for holding a strap (see the photo of the right panel), and there's no strap any more.  These are both pretty solvable problems.

My pitch:

I used this unit for years and I loved it - it's simple to use, and features lots of physical toggles on the top side for setting phantom power and gain.  The digital menu is easy to navigate.  I used PowerEx Pro AA batteries, and when fully charged this could run for 5 hours delivering phantom power to multiple channels.
