stock these are pretty meh but I've modified it for more usable gain and changed the tone control from something useless (even turned down low it was a fizz machine) to usable treble roloff. works nicely in front of a dirty amp for extra saturation
doesn't have the original battery cover but has a 3d printed replacement. what's interesting is that where the red paint has chipped there's yellow paint under it, leading me to believe the factory made too many fx50 enclosures and just painted over em. interesting!
it's got some dings and dents as any 30-year old pedal that's been played would
so yeah i love taking pedals that sound bar sick and turning them into something useful

update 1/26/23: I've replaced the 1/8th inch dc jack with a standard boss-style power jack so that i can throw this on my synth board while it's listed
