The Duesenberg Joe Walsh Alliance Series features numerous different details connected to Joe’s style or history. The fretboard inlays spell his name in morsecode, referencing his passion for radio operation and the Tibetan Knot between both pickups is a symbol of very personal meaning to Joe which he also carries as a tattoo. It features an unusual extra slim semi-hollow construction. Besides the unique semi-hollow tone, this makes the guitar handle more like a thin solid-body. The LittleToaster mini-humbucker and SingleTwin Mini noiseless single coil deliver an extremely open, responsive and transparent tone. They are one of the most curious combinations in the Duesenberg lineup. A Pleked fretboard guarantees perfectly level frets. This is the basis for our fret polishing and setup work all done by hand that eventually makes our instruments play like nothing you have ever played before.
