The Case...
This instrument comes in an era-correct Gibson hardshell case. It has a pink interior w/ case shroud and a brown exterior. The case functions as it should but shows some wear. Inside the compartment sleeps the COA the prop manager typed out verifing this was a show-burnt guitar. No paperwork from Gibson on the guitar is present.
The Guitar!
This was burnt on the TV Show "Just Shoot Me" in a scene where Wendy Malick and Simon Templeman were present. Simon was the one who did the burning, but Wendy attempted it as well (Season 7 EP 3.) For the rest of the story - please check out my video on YouTube!
The top has been refinished to black and there were various touch-ups applied to the neck. There appears to be a repaired crack or uneven spot by the bass-side F-hole. The guitar is structurally sound enough to play and enjoy. A professional setup would be encouraged. Please keep in mind - this guitar was SET ON FIRE and then restored. It was restored by a luthier to make it playable again. There will be scratches, nicks, dings, uneven binding in a few locations etc. Overall, it presents itself well though and makes for a great story piece!
The output jack needs to be replaced if you want to play this. It only functions when the cable is held a very certain way.
