The Alvarez AD6012CE delivers the shimmering texture of a 12-string in a full-bodied dreadnought acoustic-electric. Its solid A+ Sitka spruce top and laminated African mahogany back and sides produce an open, dynamic voice, combining warmth and projection with the chime and natural chorus that make a 12-string so distinctive.

Part of Alvarez’s Artist Series, the AD6012CE builds on a design developed through extensive work on bracing, voicing, and construction. The hand-selected spruce top responds quickly, giving strummed chords fullness and allowing picked passages to ring with clarity. Forward-shifted bracing supports a lively soundboard and balanced response.

The natural gloss finish highlights the spruce top, complemented by ivory ABS binding and a 12th-fret fingerboard inlay. A mahogany neck with a semi-gloss finish offers a comfortable playing feel, while the cutaway provides access to the upper frets.

A 25½" scale length and 48 mm nut width provide room for the paired strings, making the AD6012CE a versatile choice for rich rhythm parts, arpeggiated arrangements, and songwriting. Alvarez’s bi-level Indian laurel/rosewood bridge, real bone nut and saddle, and premium die-cast tuners complete the appointments.

For amplified performance, the LR Baggs StagePro EQ and Element pickup provide onboard sound shaping, bringing the guitar’s expansive 12-string voice to the stage or recording setup.
