Champion City Effects Mjolnir Heavy Distortion 2016 Acid Etched/Metallic Black

You may not know us here at Champion City Effects. We are a relatively new boutique effects pedal company that builds various pedals by hand from start to finish. No hand propagated PCB's here, everything is done start to finish on stripboard. We build high quality pedals, some of which are clones, other are modified versions of various pedals. Each pedal is handmade to order, so even though it says we have 10 in stock, we will build yours specifically for you when you order.

The Mjolnir Heavy Distortion is an Audio Amplifier LM386 based distortion. Named after Thor's Hammer due to it's thick and heavy hitting distortion that has the power to destroy titans and giants.

Since the distortion is coming from a Audio Amplifier rather then a JFET, MOSFET, transistor, or IC the distortion is more amp like so it cleans up well, sounds very dynamic with your playing, and sustained chord ends up sounding clear. The tone control rolls off the high end making it easy to go from thick and sludgy to clear and heavy distortion, but never sounding thin.

As with all our effects we worked to give this massive low end, making it great for those who like to down tune. We even regularly use it down tuned to A standard. For those looking for something giving them that heavy Doom Metal tone look no further.

Warranty Info
Champion City Effects pedals are guaranteed to be free from manufacturer defects for LIFE. We do not cover anything that happens because of abuse, or misuse. If something does break that isn't covered, we will still fix it for ya for a nominal bench fee.

Please review the following bullet points before requesting warranty service to be sure there isn't something obvious that was overlooked causing a problem. If so, it's okay. It happens to the best of us! Just give us an email and we'll take care of ya.

The owner is responsible for covering shipping to back to us, and we take care of the rest. If there are any issues with parts that have failed or if the pedal has been used incorrectly, or abused, we charge only for the parts that need to be replaced, no bench fee. For instance: If your switch fails, we charge you for the cost of the switch, and that's all, no cost of labor, and we'll cover the shipping to you.

Note: We can not guarantee transistors & IC's for life, as they can go bad over time, as with any and all electronic devices. If it is obvious that the transistor or IC failed we will take care of it for the cost of the part, as we want you to be happy and is a quick fix. So we can get it back to you quickly.
