Champion City Effects is a small effects company of one, Zach. Started out as a hobby while searching for tones that I heard in my head and couldn't find in the pedals available. I began building instruments, that lead to basic pedal mods, and eventually grew into building complete effects. All in the pursuit of finding tones I heard in my head.
Our pedal building started in the summer of 2009 by building pedals for ourselves, friends, and family members, and now expanded to the company we are today.
While we are a new company, we are not new to the music. I have over 15 years experience playing both guitar and bass, building instruments, and effects.
We craft each pedal from start to finish by hand. All our circuits are built on stripboard like the way it was done back in the day, with quality components, and in many cases use important NOS components to reach the desired tone . Each of our enclosures are finished in house and are either screen printed or acid etched, painted and baked on for durability.
Our pedals are built one at a time by a musician for musicians.
Shipping Policy
I will ship with tracking to the continental United States. Alaska, Hawaii, and international shipments may incur additional charges.
Return Policy
New Items
Returnable within 14 days of delivery.
Used & Vintage Items
Returnable within 7 days of delivery.
General Terms
Items must be returned in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. Buyer assumes responsibility for all return shipping costs unless the item was not received as described.
Special Conditions
If you order one of our stock effects and the effect you ordered just doesn't cut it for your discriminating tone palate, or you just don't bond with it you can return the pedal within 14 days of purchase in its original packaging.
Just send us an email within 14 days of purchase if you have questions or would like to coordinate your return.
Please allow up to 7 business days from the arrival date of your package for approval and processing of your return. We can not control how long it takes paypal to refund your hard earned cash.
Returned pedals must be in "as new" condition. No Chips, scratches, stickers, velcro and anything that has changed since the pedal was new voids our return policy, but you can always flip it on the used market or on ebay.
All custom build sales are FINAL.
