Vic Firth AS5B Hickory American Sound 5B Drum Sticks Pair The Vic Firth AS5B Hickory American Sound 5B Drum Sticks Pair – Classic feel with a focused, articulate sound Premium Hickory Construction for Durability and Responsiveness

Crafted from premium hickory, the Vic Firth AS5B American Sound drum sticks offer a perfect balance of strength, resilience, and sensitivity. Hickory is a top choice among drummers for its ability to absorb shock, reducing hand fatigue during long sessions while still delivering excellent rebound. Whether you're laying down heavy grooves or subtle textures, these sticks respond effortlessly to your dynamics and technique.

Focused Sound with a Distinctive Round Tip

The defining feature of the AS5B model is its round tip, adding a focused, articulate attack to your playing. Compared to traditional teardrop or oval tips, the round tip enhances clarity on both drums and cymbals, making it ideal for players who want a clean, pronounced sound in any musical setting. From crisp ride patterns to tight snare work, the AS5B helps every note stand out.

Balanced Feel with a Comfortable Medium Taper

The medium taper of the AS5B drum sticks strikes a perfect balance between power and finesse. It provides a sturdy feel in the hand without sacrificing speed or control, making these sticks versatile enough for a wide range of genres. Whether you're powering through rock anthems or delivering precision jazz fills, the medium taper supports your playing style with ease.

Standard 5B Dimensions for Versatile Playability

With a diameter of .595" and a length of 16", the AS5B sticks are rooted in the classic 5B sizing that many drummers know and trust. These dimensions make them incredibly versatile—substantial enough for aggressive playing but still light enough for detailed, dynamic work. Their familiar size ensures they feel right at home in any drummer's stick bag.

Sleek Lacquer Finish for a Comfortable Grip

Finished with a smooth lacquer coating, the AS5B sticks offer a polished feel that stays comfortable during extended playing sessions. The lacquer provides just the right amount of grip without feeling sticky, helping you maintain control without sacrificing fluidity. Whether on stage or in the studio, these sticks offer the comfort and performance you need.
