Just completed: 2019 Fender American Performer Custom Relic Purple/Lavender Sparkle. This stunning nitrocellulose lacquer finish was professionally and artfully aged by hand. This is not an assembly line produced finish. Guitarwacky's proprietary finish is top quality and was developed over time. The sub-base coat is gold pearl which can be seen shining through the around finish wear. Then purple pearl lacquer on top of the gold. The final metal flake coats were Blakes"Lavander". Blake pearls and paints are the essence of 50's-60's cool vintage vibe. This faded vintage lavander just pops!

Next, the body received the ultimate Guitarwacky proprietary pigment age treatment including vintage shattered glass finish checking. That's finish checking on two layers of lacquer. This difficult process defines vintage instruments. Superb! This guitar is everything I hoped it would be and then some. A quick preface is that I have a 74' Strat I love, a 2018 Fender custom shop 57' Strat for 4k. This one feels better than the custom.I love the feel of a nice worn in guitar and sometimes when I want to get something new I like the option of having the feel of a beautiful old Strat without the insane price tag.This guitar nailed that! The relic work is amazing! The neck and fretboard are so smooth! Absolutely Love It!
